Purdypaws Kittens
We love sharing the joy our cats bring with others, although it is difficult to say goodbye after we have spent so much time with our babies we know the happiness they bring to their new families.
Please read on to find out how we raise our kittens.
Please read on to find out how we raise our kittens.
- Our queens have the run of our home and give birth in our bedroom where they will stay for around 3 weeks, this is until the babies are wobbling around the kittening box, so at this point we move them into another bedroom set up just for them where they have more space but it’s still secure and warm. Once the kittens are properly active at around 4 - 5 weeks (ready to escape) we start moving them downstairs into my office/kitten play room during the day and back to bed at night. When the kittens get to full running around stage we start letting them run around our home where they get access to each room and used to everyday goings on and this also really helps learn to litter train and socialise during this time.
• Our 10yr old daughter Adeline handles the kittens and her friends come to see and play with them. We also have dogs and other cats so the babies get a good start being used to things they may come across in their new family homes.
• We take the babies to the vets for health checks and vaccinations which helps with travel experience, we also let the kittens run around the house with harnesses on to get them accustomed and we make sure they are litter trained and eating a combination of Dry and Wet foods before leaving.
All our kittens leave us with the following;
- Fully vet checked
- 2 vaccinations
- Microchipped
- Wormed
- Registered with TICA

- 5 weeks pet insurance cover (Agria)
